Crowns

If weak, worn, or fractured, a tooth can be restored with a crown (or cap), which covers the outer tooth to protect it from potential damage.

Crowns are often necessary following a root canal, which leaves the tooth dry and brittle, and can also be worn for aesthetic purposes. They typically have no trouble lasting 10 years or longer if properly maintained through regular brushing and flossing.
